CSJMU Samarth Portal: Admission, Login & Result 2026
CSJMU, still widely searched as Kanpur University, uses two Samarth portals. csjmuadm.samarth.edu.in handles admission for the campus and its affiliated colleges. csjmu.samarth.edu.in is the student portal, reached from the “Student Login” link at the top of csjmu.ac.in. Results come through several routes, and the Samarth student portal is only one of them.
Before you type anything, check the address. CSJMU’s own website carries a standing warning: only csjmu.ac.in and kanpuruniversity.org are its official websites, and it calls every other site fake. Kanpur University and CSJMU: one university, two names | कानपुर विश्वविद्यालय
Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur was formerly Kanpur University, and its footer still says so. If you searched for the Kanpur University Samarth portal, you need CSJMU’s addresses. The university is at Kalyanpur, Kanpur, and both names point to the same admission and student portals.

CSJMU admission 2026-27 on Samarth
The CSJMU admission portal for 2026-27 has closed. It shows a final registration deadline of 26 October 2026, with 606 participating colleges and 251 programmes. It describes itself as a common platform for admission to the campus and every college under CSJMU, so one registration covers them all.
The portal’s login page lists five rules. Read them before the next cycle opens:
- Your name and other details must match your Class X board marksheet.
- You log in with your registered email address.
- The email must be your own and active.
- You need access to that email for the whole admission process.
- Use the latest version of Google Chrome.
The login box itself accepts your registration number or your registered email, plus your password and a captcha. Below it sit two recovery links: Forgot Password and Resend Account Verification Code.

The admission portal’s help box lists no working phone number or email; it shows only “NA” and “0”. Use the contacts on csjmu.ac.in instead (see the help section below).
Registering on the CSJMU student portal
After admission, you create a separate account on csjmu.samarth.edu.in. It does not use your admission email. You pick your programme, give your name as on your ID card, and register with either your enrolment number or your examination roll number.
- Go to csjmu.ac.in and click Student Login at the top, or open csjmu.samarth.edu.in directly.
- Click New Registration.
- Select your programme.
- Type your name as it appears on your ID card.
- Under Mode of Registration, choose Enrolment Number or Examination Roll Number, then type it.
- Type the captcha and click Submit.
- Sign in afterwards with your username and password. If you forget the password, use Reset Password on the sign-in page.

If your enrolment number is not accepted, check the programme you selected and the spelling of your name against your ID card, then try again with your examination roll number.
CSJMU result 2026: which of the five links is yours
CSJMU does not publish every result in one place. Its official Results page lists five separate routes, and the right one depends on your course, your exam type and whether your college runs on Samarth. Open the Results page first, then follow the route your university or college notice names.

If your result is on Samarth, sign in with your student portal account. If you never registered there, do that first using the steps above.
Admit cards and back paper
CSJMU keeps admit cards on its own website, not on the Samarth admission portal. The Admit Cards page groups them by exam: NEP back paper, back paper for campus students, medical and paramedical, and the odd-semester back paper exam. Back paper applications run on CSJMU’s own admission system at admission.csjmu.ac.in.
If your admit card is missing, ask your college whether your exam form was submitted and forwarded before the deadline.
