RMLAU Samarth Portal: Avadh University Admission & Login

For 2026-27, 738 colleges and 130 programmes went through the main Samarth admission portal of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University (RMLAU), Ayodhya. That portal, rmlauadm.samarth.edu.in, covers the university’s own departments and its affiliated colleges. Once you are admitted, a second Samarth address becomes your student account.

Search results use several names for the same university: Avadh University, Faizabad University (after the district’s older name), Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia University and RMLAU. They all mean the university on Prayagraj Road, Ayodhya. One mix-up to avoid: news items about “AU” admissions on Samarth may refer to Allahabad University, a different university in Prayagraj.

The 2026-27 admission portal, and what happens now that it has closed

RMLAU’s admission portal now shows the 2026-27 cycle as closed, with 24 October 2026 as the registration deadline. It listed undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and professional programmes of the university and its affiliated colleges. New applicants wait for the next cycle; the portal asks visitors to check it for updates.

Two courses were handled differently near the end. A notice of 5 October 2026 told students who want LL.B. (3 years) or M.Ed. to contact the college concerned and apply only through it. Earlier notices on the portal covered college allotment lists for LL.B. (3 years) and M.Ed. (28 August), offline counselling and admission for LL.B. (3 years), and admission against vacant M.Ed. seats (both 12 September).

If you applied and your admission is still being processed, these are the contacts the portal gives:

  • phone: 9450427509, 9451110115 or 9450630938;
  • email: admissionrmlau2026@gmail.com.

Write with your registration number and the college and programme you applied for, so the office can find your form.

MBA, MCA and M.Sc. admissions used a separate CUET portal

Some postgraduate programmes did not run on the main admission portal. RMLAU’s PG portal on rmlaucuet.samarth.edu.in/pg/ handled MBA programmes (including Agri, Tourism, Finance and Hospitality), MCA, M.Sc. Computer Science and M.Sc. Microbiology. Its 2026-27 registration closed on 31 July 2026.

This portal published merit lists by programme. For MCA and M.Sc. Computer Science, it kept CUET and Non-CUET merit lists separate, so check the list that matches how you applied before you read your rank.

Your RMLAU student account on Samarth

After admission, your student account sits on rmlau.samarth.edu.in. It is a separate account from both admission portals. The sign-in page asks for a username and password, with New Registration and Reset Password beside it.

Which details does registration ask for? The form asks you to select your programme, type your name as on your ID card and choose a mode of registration. The two modes are Enrolment Number and Examination Roll Number, followed by a captcha and Submit.

What if I do not know my enrolment number yet? Choose Examination Roll Number as the mode instead. If you have neither number, ask your college office for it.

RMLAU result 2026 and Samarth

The public pages of the three RMLAU Samarth addresses above do not list results. The RMLAU result guides that rank for this search send students to separate exam-result sites, and none of the ones we checked mentions Samarth at all.

Use the result link that the university itself publishes for your course and semester. Some guide pages send every course to one generic result link, so open the result only from a link you reached through the university’s own website.
