VBSPU Samarth Portal: Student Login, Admission, Results
Two questions decide which Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU) page you need. Have you already been admitted? And do you want your account, a new admission or a result? Each answer leads to a different address, and only two of them are Samarth portals.
- Admitted, and you need your student account: vbspu.samarth.edu.in
- Applying to a VBSPU college or campus course: vbspuadm.samarth.edu.in
- Checking a semester result: the university’s result site, vbspuresult.org.in, which is not part of Samarth
Admitted students: creating your account on vbspu.samarth.edu.in
The student portal opens on a sign-in box with Username and Password. If you have never used it, start from New Registration below that box. Reset Password sits next to it for later.
The Student Registration Form is short. It asks for four things, and each one has a small catch.
Select Programme. The list is long and uses the university’s own short codes, such as BA, B.Sc. (BZCEM), BTCSE or MA(HINDI). Pick the code that matches your admission record. Similar-looking entries are separate programmes, so B.Sc and B.Sc. (PCMG) are not interchangeable.
Name (as on ID card). Type it exactly as your college ID card shows it, including spelling and initials.
Mode of Registration. You choose Enrolment Number or Examination Roll Number. Use whichever the university has already given you.
Captcha. If the text is hard to read, click on it to get a new one.

The form does not ask for your date of birth or mobile number at this stage, whatever older guides say. If your enrolment number is not accepted, check it with your college before trying again.
A search for “Samarth portal Veer Kunwar Singh University” is a different university altogether: Veer Kunwar Singh University is in Ara, Bihar. VBSPU is in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, and its Samarth addresses begin with vbspu.
Semester results come from vbspuresult.org.in
Results for VBSPU courses are published on the university’s result site, vbspuresult.org.in, not on the Samarth student portal. The student portal’s Public Notice/Results page holds no result lists. VBSPU’s admission portal itself links to vbspuresult.org.in for the PUCAT entrance result.
- On the result site, open RESULT.
- Choose the session and Even Semester or Odd Semester. Each list shows the course, semester and the date the result was uploaded.
- Enter your roll number, date of birth and the captcha, then Submit.
The same site carries separate links for the PUCAT entrance result and the PhD entrance result.
One admission portal for 610 affiliated colleges
Admission to the courses of VBSPU’s affiliated colleges runs through the university’s Samarth admission portal, vbspuadm.samarth.edu.in. The university’s notice of 2 June 2026 opened the 2026-27 application form there. After registering and completing your profile, you select the college and the subject on the same portal. The portal lists 610 participating colleges.
Courses on the university campus have their own admission notice. The admission portal also carries the counselling schedule and entrance result of PUCAT-2026, the university’s entrance test. B.P.Ed. and M.Ed. had their own application dates, an M.Ed. entrance test and a B.P.Ed. physical test.
For 2026-27, registration on the admission portal ran from 2 June to 26 October 2026, and the portal now shows it as closed. Pages that still show a 31 October last date for VBSPU applications do not match the portal.
When the next cycle opens, these points from the portal’s own instructions and help pages save trouble:
- Your name and other details must match your Class XII board marksheet.
- Use your own working email address. You log in later with your registration number or that email, plus your password.
- The fee can be paid by debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. An application for a programme counts only after its fee is paid.
- After the final submission, download and print the filled form.
- If the account verification code does not arrive, use Resend Account Verification Code on the login page.
Who answers admission portal queries
The admission portal lists named contacts rather than a general helpline:
- Application form queries: Mr. Shivang Singh, 6393806533
- Payment queries: Mr. Pradeep, 9369404790
- Email: vbspu.admission.samarth@gmail.com
The login page adds that technical assistance is available Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM. These contacts are for the admission portal; the student portal’s sign-in page lists none.
